Cinestill 50D 是由電影底片 Kodak Vision3 5203 改製而來，將原本的電影膠片去除了 ECN-2 的 Remjet 層，使其能以 C-41 顏色負片的方式沖洗。這支底片保有電影底片的高細節與高動態範圍，同時方便底片用戶使用一般彩色沖洗流程。

這支底片特別適合在充足自然光下拍攝，擁有細緻的畫質、低雜訊與乾淨的色彩層次。畫面帶有輕微的電影色調與柔和膚色表現，是戶外人像、靜物與風景攝影的理想選擇。
